Business AND Pleasure in the U.P.

I could never say that a visit to Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula was all business and no pleasure! However, I can say that I was on a mission during this last visit, and sure enough, I managed to visit with students in Marquette, Calumet, and Copper Harbor AND have time for a little research. (HINT: I think the Marquette Lighthouse may be the setting for a new Michigan Lighthouse Adventure.)

To say that I had a grand time doesn’t begin to tell the story of what fun it was to meet the students (and teachers and staff) at Superior Hills Elementary and CLK Elementary schools. Thanks to everyone for such hospitality. Have a great summer and keep reading!
